Coordinator – Procurement
About the job
- Coordinating sourcing of materials requirement planning to mitigate out of stock and factory shut down
- Collaborating with NPD/R&D to develop quality product that drives cost savings
- Conduct research to source the best products and vendors in terms of best value
- Negotiate and agree contracts, keep contract details for reference
- Build and maintain good relationships with new and existing suppliers
- Develop strategies to make sure that cost savings and vendor performance targets are met or exceeded
- Preparing procurement cost-benefit analysis for superior sourcing decision
- Undertake value for money reviews of existing contracts and necessary review
- Ensure the security and sustainability of sources of essential products and services
- Forecast price trends and their impact on future activities
- Analyze data, produce reports and statistics for strategic decision making
- keep up to date with trends and innovations, regulation and new technology that can impact on the business
- Ensure compliance with foreign importation regulation/preprocess
- Generating monthly and quarterly reports
- Carry out other assigned tasks for the unit

Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Proven experience in procurement or purchasing roles, with at least 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and regulations.
- Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Certification in procurement (e.g., CSCP, CPIM, CIPS) is a plus.
