SUMMARY: We are looking for individuals who are passionate about learning, open to mentoring, coaching, customer service, and developing problem solving skills. The role requires organizational, time management, and communication skills. The 2024 Summer Internship program will be onsite at Axiom Space in Houston, Texas from June 3 to August 23, 2024.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assists the team in development of three statement financial models and ad hoc analysis to support internal company decision-making and financing needs.
- Assists the team in development and implementation of company-wide budgeting and reporting processes through hands-on coordination with all business units.
- Assists the team in improvement and execution of company-wide treasury initiatives.
- Assists the team in aggregation, analysis, and presentation of market research reports to support financial analysis across all space verticals.
- Assists the team in all the above through extensive use of Excel and PowerPoint, must be strong in MS Office Suite.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Pending Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or related field required
- Cumulative GPA 3.0 or higher
- Must graduate from a university or college before commencing full time employment
- Preferred, but not required, familiarity with Costpoint or other ERP systems
- Preferred, but not required, familiarity with Power BI or other dashboard systems
Essential Functions
- Work Environment: Generally, an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on the task.
Requirements
- Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
- Management has the prerogative to select at any level for which the position is advertised.
- Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.
